Vigo este un oraș și o municipalitate situată în provincia Pontevedra, în comunitatea autonomă spaniolă Galicia, pe Oceanul Atlantic. Porta do Sol este un centru comercial istoric și locul multor centre culturale, muzee moderne și fundații de artă din Vigo. La Playa de Samil este cea mai mare plajă din Vigo și este locul unde se varsă râul Lagares. Las Islas Cies (Insulele Cies), sunt un grup de insule situate chiar în largul coastei Pontevedra din Galicia, Spania. Aceste insule au fost declarate rezervație naturală în 1980 și au fost adăugate la Parcul Național Atlantic Islands of Galicia în 2002.
