The area by this hotel is amazing. It was clean and nice, though on the smaller side. Hot water is limited but shouldn’t be an issue if you take quick showers.

Hotel is next to the shore so if it's a nice day, you can walk and the view will be amazing but if it's raining, have in mind that the walk to your room is open space (no roof). Btw, the apple map drives you further, the hotel reception is at the restaurant.

A small table where you can eat or use your laptop would be nice. We had 2 chairs but no table. Check in was quick. We were given our keys and nothing else. No other information about the area or anything else.

It features a naturally eroded stone arch, known as Gatklettur, where the combination of the sun's light and the crashing waves creates a mesmerizing display. The area is also a nesting ground for large colonies of arctic terns, making it a favorite spot for photographers. A former horse trail that runs through the Hellnahraun lava field is a popular hiking destination due to the awe-inspiring landscape that surrounds it.
