Food was almost inedible. Hot tubs were cold. Noisy with early morning furniture moving. Screaming kids even in the off season. Left 3 days early and went north to an Airbnb. Pretty horrid party destination, but even that was an hours walk…

It isn’t a 4 star hotel, the rooms are tiny and basic, no baths, the sink was stained, no water fountains on the floors, vending machine didn’t work, hole in the ceiling in the hallway of block 4, food basic and bland after the 3rd day knew what to expect each day. The staff were polite, friendly and welcoming, rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaners were always polite and helpful, but I will not be returning. The rooms need to be updated.

In the south of Gran Canaria is the beach of San Agustín, within the tourist nucleus of the same name. The beach of San Agustín is perfect for relaxing for days, but if its calm is not enough, within walking distance is one of the largest thalassotherapy centers on the island. The beach of San Agustín is an urban beach of more than 600 meters of length and soft sand toasted. Of calm waters and scarce current, its swell is moderate enough to have fun with the little ones in the shore jumping waves. And on its long promenade, which connects to the south with the tourist core of Playa del Ingles, there are multiple terraces, bars and restaurants where you can eat. It has hammocks and umbrellas for hire, lifeguards, showers, free parking and connection with the bus network of Maspalomas.
