Angra do Heroísmo is een stad en gemeente op het eiland Terceira, Portugal, en een van de drie hoofdsteden van de Azoren. Opgericht in 1478, was Angra historisch gezien de belangrijkste stad van de Azoren, als zetel van de bisschop van de Azoren, overheidsinstanties, en het heeft eerder gediend als de hoofdstad van Portugal, tijdens de Liberale Oorlogen. De bevolking in 2011 was 35.402, in een gebied van 239,00 km². Het werd in 1983 door UNESCO geclassificeerd als werelderfgoed.
