Az úti célról: Thaiföld fővárosa, Bangkok, Ázsia egyik legizgalmasabb városa. Egyszerre hipermodern metropolisz és a legjobb thai hagyományok őrzője. Tény, hogy hatalmas, és első pillantásra akár kaotikusnak is tűnhet, de nem kell hozzá sok idő, hogy kiderüljön, mindenki számára tartogat nagy dolgokat, és felfedje nyugodt, békés, hagyományosan thai arcát. A leghíresebb turistalátványosságok a történelmi városrészben, Rattanakosin szigeten találhatók, köztük a Királyi Palota és a híres smaragd Buddha otthona, a Wat Phra Kaew, nem messze tőle pedig a Wat Pho, amelyben ezernél is több Buddha szobor és a világ legnagyobb fekvő Buddhája lakik.

Az úti célról: Ko Samui egy sziget Thaiföld Kra-isthmusának keleti partjánál. Földrajzilag a Chumphon-szigetcsoportban található, Surat Thani tartomány része, bár 2012 óta Ko Samuinak önkormányzati státuszt adtak, így most helyileg önkormányzati. Ko Samui Thaiföld második legnagyobb szigete Phuket után, 228,7 km2 területtel, több mint 63 000 lakossal és a szállodák 73 százalékos kihasználtsági arányával, ahogy a látogatók száma növekszik. On the north and east sides of the island are sandy beaches. - Ko Yung. This island just north of Ko Phi Phi Don has a rocky beach and some coral.
