Day 1
hamburg, germany
Departure: 20:00
Hamburg, a city with a rich trading history spanning centuries, is a bustling blend of Hanseatic commerce and global sophistication. Despite significant damage during WWII, this attractive city still retains much of its distinctive northern German architecture, characterized by copper-roofed brick buildings. Its beautiful parks and lakes contribute to Hamburg's reputation as the Venice of the north. The city's vibrant cultural scene adds even more life to this expansive port city. Hamburg's old town is laced with charming canals that stretch from the Alster to the Elbe. The elaborately decorated Rathaus dominates the city center, with the equally impressive St. Michaeliskirche nearby. Ascend the towering spire of this beautiful baroque church for a breathtaking view. Near the Rathaus, you'll find the Börse, suitably grand for this city of commerce, and the ruined St Nikolai church, which now serves as an anti-war memorial. For shopping enthusiasts, Pöseldrof is a must-visit. This delightful neighborhood is filled with upscale homes, quaint cafes, boutiques, and antique shops. Night owls will love the notorious St. Pauli district. Hamburg's dynamic and cool vibe is sure to surprise visitors. There's something for everyone in this city, whether it's the numerous parks, canals, bridges, or the beautiful lakes formed by the river Alster. Despite its seeming austerity, Hamburg is a city that will make you feel at home.

Arrival: 07:00 - Departure: 18:00
Newcastle upon Tyne, commonly known as Newcastle, is a city in the metropolitan county of Tyne and Wear in North East England. It is the most populous city in the North East region and lies at the urban core of Tyneside. Newcastle is a member of the English Core Cities Group and, together with Gateshead, of the Eurocities network of European cities. North East England has a reputation as one of the most beautiful regions in Britain. Newcastle is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination thanks to regeneration within the city and its close proximity to areas of outstanding natural beauty such as the Northumberland coastline and the Pennine Hills. MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS • The River Tyne is a short walk from the station and has a pedestrian quayside path on the north side, reminiscent of the Queen’s Walk in London. • The High Level Bridge, designed and built by Robert Stephenson, is the first major example of a wrought-iron tied-arch bridge. Completed in 1849, it is the oldest of the city centre bridges. • The Gateshead Millennium Bridge is acclaimed worldwide for its physical and aesthetic beauty. • Grainger Town is the beautiful and historic heart of the city, centred on classical streets built by Richard Grainger between 1835 and 1842. • Grey’s Monument, located at the heart of Grainger Town, is a Grade I listed monument to Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey, built in 1838. The wide base of the monument is a popular spot for people-watching and often serves as a venue for buskers, religious speakers, and political activists. • The Angel of the North, a modern sculpture designed by celebrated artist Antony Gormley, is just a short drive from Newcastle city centre in Gateshead. The Angel is a 20-metre-high steel structure with an impressive 54-metre wingspan.

Invergordon is a town and port in Easter Ross, in Ross and Cromarty, Highland, Scotland. It lies in the parish of Rosskeen. Day 6
kirkwall, scotland
Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 17:00
Kirkwall is the largest town in Orkney, an archipelago north of mainland Scotland. Its name comes from the Norse Kirkjuvágr (Church Bay), reflecting its origins as a Norse town founded around 1,000 years ago. Today, Kirkwall is a key transport hub with ferry connections to many surrounding islands. The town is home to the Orkney Library and Archive, as well as the world’s most northerly Carnegie library building, opened by Andrew Carnegie and his wife in 1909. Although the original Carnegie building still stands, the library has since moved to a larger site on Junction Road. Kirkwall has two museums. The larger, Tankerness House Museum, is housed in one of Scotland’s best-preserved 16th‑century townhouses, a Category A listed building. Its prehistoric, Pictish, and Viking collections are of international importance. The second, the Orkney Wireless Museum, focuses on the history of radio and recorded sound. A major annual tradition is the Ba Game, a historic street football match played each Christmas Day and New Year’s Day between the Uppies and the Doonies, teams representing different parts of the town.
