Very small, on steep hilly road. Very overpriced for the small room, but the front desk people were very nice and the breakfast was good.

Mervyn

Small hotel.Room was almost L shaped but included small kitchen, dressing area, seating area, shower room as well as bedroom so plenty of space. Breakfast had a good choice, was of excellent quality and staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no communal area or rooftop terrace so this is a hotel for those who want to be out and about for most of the day. In the respect the location is very good for central Funchal and is sufficiently close to the sea front as to not involve much of a hill climb on the return journey.

فونچال، مادیرا, پرتغال

وقتی به فونچال می‌رسید، از بی‌حجمی آن شگفت‌زده می‌شوید. خانه‌ها و خانه‌های بیشتری از دریا بلند می‌شوند و کل آمفی‌تئاتر طبیعی را که فونچال است، می‌پوشانند. این مرکز بزرگ تجاری، توریستی و فرهنگی جزیره مادیرا است.
