Great Italian town in beautiful Lake Como

Apartment was clean, comfortable and fully equipped. The view of Lake Como from the balcony is exquisite. Breakfast was excellent and Rita was a great host. The croissants were the best we've ever had! The walk up and down the path to the town issues but walkable.

OUR THOUGHTS!

Kind, helpful owner. Free parking can be arranged a little farther up the hill. Walk down to Varenna (ferries, etc) is steep and very slippery where wet. Impossible for us to climb back up. Each return trip by taxi cost $12 to $30 Euro. $$$ If your budget allows, stay down in town.

Rita and the rest of the staff are very accommodating and made our stay very nice. Breakfast was good. It is easy to goto town but it is a steep climb back. We couldn’t find a taxi so Rita came to pick us up. Very nice!

You are advised to bring your own vehicle as the property is not serviced by public transport. In order to reach the property you should follow the SS36 direction Lecco. Take the first exit for Abbadia Lariana and follow the street beside the lake. When reaching Varenna, turn left for Varenna centre and through the village. At the bridge, turn right for Esino Lario and after some curves again turn right for Vezio/Vezio Castle. Follow the directions for the castle and the restaurant Il Portichetto. A surcharge of 25€ applies for arrivals after check-in hours (10 PM). For arrival after midnight will be applied a surcharge of 50€. Surcharges will be applied for room booked. All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property. Unheated pool. Jacuzzi open from May 1st to October 15th.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
