Can Picafort är en turistort vid Alcúdiabukten. Mellan Port d'Alcudia i norra delen av bukten och Can Picafort finns en fem kilometer lång sandstrand kantad av hotell. Det skyddade Albufera-träsket gränsar till cirka 2 kilometer av bukten och förhindrar att de två turistorterna förenas. Den 8 kvadratkilometer stora vildmarken är ett bra alternativ till turistorterna och kan utforskas genom att hyra cyklar. Can Picafort är väl anpassat för turism och strandpromenaden erbjuder många barer och restauranger. Man kan shoppa på dagen och promenera i gågatan på kvällen. Can Picafort är inte bara populärt under högsäsong. Lågsäsongen är dock betydligt lugnare och många av företagen stänger. Redan på 1990-talet översteg befolkningen här den i huvudstaden Santa Margalida och staden har blivit en viktig bostadsort. Stora infrastrukturprojekt kan också hittas här. Från stadsdelen Son Bauló kan man nå nekropolerna i Son Real, och belägen på en närliggande ö, S'Illa d'en Porros. Båda är rester av Talaiot-kulturen från Mallorcas tidiga historia. Därifrån leder en strandvandringsled till Son Serra de Marina.
