The famous Santa Maria Maggiore Cathedral is 2 km away and the trip to there passes through a number of charming restaurants, where one won't regret stopping by for a quick espresso or a small desert. Very friendly Anna at the reception, a real star, very helpful. Could use maybe some carpets to take away sound from the shoes since the doors were thin or bad insulation.

Average but decent

It's a bit expensive for what it is, but maybe that's the normal price in Bergamo. The room itself was not in the best shape: the door got caught on the floor while trying to open it all the way, the walls had scratch marks, only one outlet in the bedroom... But it was close to the train station, easy to check in, the hotel sold snacks and drinks in the lobby, and there was a small but nice balcony.
