Upgrade the room type

The location is fantastic, beach front at Sairee and has a swimming pool. This is what you are paying for. You definitely want to stay in Sairee part of the island as all the evening activities are up this way and short walk and get a moped for all the viewpoints and other beaches you can see in the day. We stayed in the cheaper ‘triple room’ which was very basic. The room was disappointing and didn’t meet my expectations for money spent, seems all the marketing for this hotel is based upon the swimming pool, and the expensive rooms. The Triple was a very small room, a double bed and a single bed with an en suite. The bathroom was grotty, there was no hangers or shelves to unpack any clothes and 1 small mirror and only 1 plug socket. If you forget to put the ‘clean me’ card out, they won’t refresh the room, we found out the hard way Have to say I did have envy looking at all other room types in the complex as they looked very luxurious. We wish we paid more for one of them. We had some fantastic food at the hotel restaurant in the evening that we had to pay for but the breakfast was included but fairly poor compared to the standard of breakfast you can get out in Koh Tao

When you stay at Sairee Hut Resort Koh Tao in Koh Tao, you'll be on the beach, within a 5-minute walk of Sairee Beach and Sairee Plaza. This beach resort is 0.7 mi (1.1 km) from Island Muay Thai and 1.3 mi (2.1 km) from Mae Haad Clinic.

The small island of Koh Tao is located just north of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, and can be easily reached via a public ferry crossing. Flights to Koh Samui are available from Bangkok, Chiang Mai, U-Thapao / Pattaya, Phuket, Krabi, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong. Depending on the timetable, you may need an overnight stay on Koh Samui (transfer details can be found at the respective hotel). Koh Tao is considered an Eldorado for divers and snorkelers due to the clear water and the diversified underwater world. But also individualists, "island collectors" and beach enthusiasts have written themselves Koh Tao on their flag. The island of Nang Yuan, on the northwest tip of Koh Tao, is a busy excursion, but Koh Tao itself is spared. A fortified road leads from the Mae Haad Bay main ferry to the south to Chalok Baan Kao, to the north it ends in Sairee (other bays can be quite adventurous, prefer a longtail boat). In Mae Haad, the island's capital, there is a considerable number of restaurants, hang-out spots, mini-bars and shops. The service in the hotels is not quite on the booth of Koh Samui, which is often Burmese staff but very friendly. The main event is short and violent, falling into the months of November and December (not recommended).
