Playa de Palma is a popular tourist destination. It is a long sandy beach between the areas of Can Pastilla and El Arenal. There is a wide pedestrian promenade that makes a very nice walk, especially at night. Playa de Palma is the perfect base for exploring every corner of the island. It is near Palma as its name implies, the Playa de Palma is the closest beach to the Balearic capital. Palma is only ten minutes away and can be reached by a highway that goes directly to the center of great historic, artistic and shopping importance. This means that you are close to everything so you can enjoy all the charms of Mallorca during your holiday. If you are looking for nature you must visit the Sierra de Tramuntana in the north of the island, you can enjoy the sea view from the top of a virgin mountains. Playa de Palma is great fun for the young ones with its countless discotheques where you can dance until dawn and its long sandy beach to relax during the day.
