Typical holiday let.

There was quite a bit of construction work going on which meant the restaurantand bar was closed. The beds were extremely poor we asked for a double and got two singles put together which were extremely uncomfortable. If you are using the indoor pool facilities make sure you bring a towel with you. I think a booklet introducing you to the area and hotel facilities would help as its a bit isolated if you haven't been to Portimão before.

Emergency family trip as my sister-in-law was in a near fatal car accident and was in Portimao hospital, so this property was ideal and close to the hospital for our stay. Very clean helpful staff, will definitely book again, in not so unfortunate circumstances.

Hôtel situé à environ 1.5 km de la mer. L’appartement était parfait et équipé de lave vaisselle et de lave linge avec séchoir portatif. Par contre pas de balcon pour sécher le linge à l’extérieur. Nous avions une chambre au dessus du gym adjacent à l’hôtel. Très bruyant le soir, si vous êtes des couche tôt pensez-y ! Sinon cet hôtel est très bien. Le buffet déjeuner ouvre à 8h00.

Portimao, Portugal

Portimão is the biggest town in the western region of Algarve. It has been a significant port since ancient times due to its strategic location at the mouth of the Arade river. Today, it is a bustling provincial town and a commercial fishing port. During the summer, the town's riverfront is filled with boats offering game-fishing trips and coastal and river cruises. Praca da Republica is a notable square in the heart of Portimao, featuring several water fountains and benches for people-watching. The Church of the Colegio stands majestically on one side of the square. The Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, a historic building that was rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake, dominates the city center skyline. It retains a magnificent Manueline style door from the original 14th-century building, and its interior is adorned with 17th-century glazed tiles. Praia da Rocha, the main beach in Portimão, is stunning and exotic, boasting a fantastic beach bar. A modern marina, filled with new bars and restaurants, is another attraction along the Praia da Rocha path. The busiest time of the year is summer, culminating with the popular annual sardine festival in August. Oceano Atlântico Bar is open throughout the day from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 00:00. The Pool Bar is open from the 15th of June to the 15th of September, from 14:00 to 18:00. Guests will have free access to the modern fitness room between: - 07.30 and 17:00 from Monday to Friday; - Saturdays from 10:00 until 14:00; - Sundays and Holidays from 10.00 until 13:00. Access to the fitness room is always accompanied by a monitor, when required. Individual training programs, group sessions lead by specialized instructors and other custom services are available, at an extra fee. Please note that limited parking spaces are available in front of the hotel, free of charge. Please note that the indoor swimming pool is available between 10:00 and 19:00.
