Levante Beach, Benidorm Spain

Levante Beach is a sandy beach in the municipality of Benidorm in the province of Alicante, Spain. It is bordered to the north by Sierra Helada and to the south by Punta Canfali. The beach is 2,084 meters long, with an average elevation of 110 meters. It is in an urban setting with street access, a promenade, and designated parking. The beach has disabled access, is clearly marked, and holds a Blue Flag designation. Although it is a very well-equipped beach, it presents a very inconvenient drawback for swimmers: when they try to walk out into the sea from the shore, they must cross a wide, rocky strip where the waves break. This area is difficult to walk on, making it easy to trip, slip, fall, and hit the rocks on the bottom.
