San Agustín, Gran Canaria Spain

In the south of Gran Canaria lies San Agustín Beach, located within the tourist resort of the same name. It’s a tourist beach with all the usual accommodation and services, yet it remains very peaceful because it’s less crowded. Even at night it’s quiet, without the typical noise and bustle of a major resort area. San Agustín is an urban beach over 600 meters long with soft, golden sand. Its waters are calm with little current, and the moderate waves are ideal for having fun with the kids at the shoreline. Along its long seafront promenade, which connects southward to the Playa del Inglés resort, you’ll find numerous cafés, bars, and restaurants where you can dine. The beach offers sunbed and umbrella rentals, lifeguard services, showers, free parking, and convenient connections to the Maspalomas bus network.
