About the hotel

The all-inclusive Grand Oasis Palm offers a private beach and is set 5 km from central Cancún, within the Hotel Zone. It features an outdoor pool, squash and tennis courts and a spa. All rooms offer Caribbean Sea views. This Mexican-style hotel has a kid's club with cooking lessons, a disco and a games area with a Wii and Xbox. There is also a pool with a waterslide. Air-conditioned rooms have flat-screen cable TV, a minibar and coffee maker. There is a safe for hire. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer, shower and toiletries. The hotel complex features 9 bars and 16 speciality restaurants, including one for children. Restaurants include sushi, Tex-Mex and international buffets. Manage expectations

I was a bit nervous after reading previous reviews on the Oasis Palm. But my advice would be, don’t be put off. I think the property is fair for the money. Yes there are things that I would change/improve, but other hotels will have this and be more expensive. You can’t expect to stay at an all inclusive at the lower end of the pay scale and expect 10/10 for everything. You always get what you pay for
