Levante Beach, Benidorm Spain

Levante Beach is a sandy beach in the town of Benidorm in the province of Alicante, Spain. It’s bordered to the north by the Serra Gelada and to the south by Punta Canfali. The beach is 2,084 metres long, with an average elevation of 110 metres. It’s in an urban setting with street access, a promenade, and designated parking. There is disabled access and the swimming area is clearly marked. The beach holds a Blue Flag award. Although it is very well equipped, there is a significant drawback for swimmers: when walking out from the shore, you have to cross a wide, stony strip where the waves break, which is difficult to walk on and makes it easy to trip, slip, and fall onto the rocks below.
