Flic en Flac, Mauritius

Flic-en-Flac is a coastal town on the west coast of Mauritius in the Black River district. The name probably comes from an ancient Dutch phrase, "Fried Landt Flaak", meaning free and flat land. Its public white sand beach is one of the longest on the island. (There is no need for translation as both Ireland and Mauritius are English-speaking countries. The text is already in English and would be understood in the same way in Ireland.)
