This is a tired hotel. The carpet in our room did not appear clean, the type you hesitate removing your shoes and definitely not your socks. Stains too. It looks like it could do with a carpet cleaner wash! Someone's hair band was left in the bath. The mirror was so badly cleaned that it was hard to see your reflection. Broken store slats in the bathroom. A lamp in between the beds with no visible plug? Bedding was clean, but the beds not very comfortable with a clear sinking in the middle. We were top floor with no lift and next to a shared bathroom for two other rooms, meaning we could hear back and forth in the night for those rooms. Breakfast was poor. Dont book thinking you'll get parking, there's only 2 spaces at the front on a first come first served basis and not much help with where one can park otherwise when i called the night before. Sorry but I would not stay again nor recommend.

I recently stayed at OYO The Regency in Clifton, Bristol, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. When I booked my stay, there was no clear mention that the bathroom would be shared. This was a major inconvenience as I was expecting private facilities, especially given the price I paid. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find out about the shared bathroom situation, which was not made clear at the time of booking. To make matters worse, when I reached out to both OYO and Expedia for a refund or any sort of resolution, I was met with unhelpful responses. Neither company took responsibility for the lack of transparency, and they refused to refund my money. This lack of customer service, coupled with the misleading booking details, made the entire experience incredibly frustrating. The lack of proper communication and the unwillingness to rectify the situation left me with a very negative impression. I would strongly advise potential guests to double-check the details before booking, as transparency seems to be an issue here. Unfortunately, due to the overall poor experience, I cannot recommend this property.

The room was clean, tea and coffee facilities were good, There wasn't a bar facilities, the lights and the extractor fan wasn't working, there is no lift and the handrails were low in height. Not meant for older people and disabled. Breakfast was very disappointed.
