Naoussa, Paros, is one of the most renowned villages in the Cyclades complex. It's situated on the northeastern shore of Paros, within the Gulf of Naoussa. Naoussa of Paros is the second largest village on the island, following the capital, Parikia, which is 11 km away. Despite the village's tourist development, Naoussa has maintained its traditional "character". The quintessential Cycladic architecture of homes, hotels, and virtually all other buildings in the village, have made Naoussa not only a gem of Paros but also of the Cyclades. When visiting Naoussa of Paros, you should not miss the nighttime stroll through the village's narrow streets. Here, you will discover "hidden" shops selling jewelry, traditional and contemporary clothing, delicacies, and inviting bars and restaurants. Naoussa is conveniently located for visitors. From the village's port, there are regular "ferry" services provided by traditional fishing boats that have been specially modified to transport people. These boats depart every 30 minutes, depending on the destination, to the stunning beaches located in the bay of Naoussa, such as Kolymbithres, Monastiri, Laggeri, and the Aqua Park. Other popular beaches near Naoussa include Santa Maria, Piperi, Xifara, Agioi Anargyri, and the beach of Ambelas. For these locations, as well as many others in eastern Paros, local bus services are available for transportation.
