Garachico is a municipality and town on the northern coast of Tenerife. The historic town of Garachico was once Tenerife's main port. Now, known as the “low island”, it forms a wonderful place full of monuments and buildings of artistic interest, such as the churches of Santa Ana and Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, the convents of San Francisco and Santo Domingo, and the castle of San Miguel.
